Anti-Discrimination & Harassment Policy

The Chiari Voices Foundation is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community. We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of our activities or operations.

1. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all employees, independent contractors, volunteers, interns, board members, clients, and partners.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Discrimination is defined as treating individuals differently or adversely because of a protected characteristic. Harassment includes verbal, physical, visual, and sexual harassment. The Foundation strictly prohibits both.

3. Reasonable Accommodation

Given our mission, The Chiari Voices Foundation is dedicated to full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with known disabilities.

4. Reporting & No Retaliation

If you believe you have been the subject of discrimination or harassment, report it immediately to your supervisor or the Board Chair. We strictly prohibit retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination.
